I have a new HP pavilion laptop with a DVD+rw drive. OS is Win XP sp 2, swedish. When I put in the EU II CD from Vision Park I can't see any files at all on the CD, so it is impossible to start the installation.
It starts fine on my old PC with Win 2000, so the CD is ok. My DVD runs fine with other CD titles.
Any suggestions?

Don't see why your DVD drive would not read the CD.
DO you have autorun on?
What happened when you went to MY Computer and right clicked on the DVD drive icon and selected explore?

Autorun is on.
It seems like there was no CD in the drive. Explorer shows no files and no name on the CD! The drive spins, though.

Put the cd in the drive.
From the start menu - All programs - Accessories - Command Prompt
A window will apear. Type the drive letter your DVD drive is, then a Colon.
Eg. D: or E:
Then press enter.
Then type dir
Then press enter.
What happens?

Is there another drive you can test the CD in?

Yes it works on my old PC with win 2000 and a standard CD drive (my new is a DVD +rw), so I have copied the files to my new PC from there.
The problem is that I don't know if it's my DVD drive (which works fine with other CD's) or if it's an XP problem.

Just tried it in mine system and It reads the CD fine both in my CD drive and my DVD RW drive. But it is a desktop system not a laptop running XP-pro
