I can log into my Paradox Account in the launcher, but as soon as I log in in-game I instantly disconnects me... Can anyone recommend a fix?

I have a similar problem. I can log into my paradox acc in launcher and in game, but it keeps showing all lobbies as password protected and gives "host rejected your connection" immediately.
I've been trying from a pc & mac for two-tree hours. So is that some kind of bug or do people just kick me out of the lobby?
