Can't start a game

Hello

Suddenly i can't seem to play CK DV. I can load the game, but whenever i try a new scernario or a savegame, it instantly crashes. I tested a bit further and it seems that i can play the CK without DV, and by the way its the gamersgateversion. I also tried applying the beta patch, but that made no difference.

I'm running vista sp1. I have tried to uninstall / install the game and cleaned the registy. but no luck

I would love to do that, but i dont have any savegames, i tried several times to reinstall, and i can't start a new game, as soon as i click start, it crashes.

Have you tried a complete/fresh installation ?

Since it is weird that you can't play a game with DV anymore.

Do you perhaps have Vista ? If yes where did you install your game ?

Ah yes, you have Vista.

Did you perhaps install CK in c:\program files ? If yes then move it to another folder like c:\games

I have same issue since DV install.

I'm on Vista 64 bit.

Reinstalled to c:\games, changed avi directory to aviback but didn't work.

Changed settings.txt to match current desktop resolution and it works
