I'm trying to set up a supply convoy from Fukuaka to Busan as my armies fighting China are running out of supplies too often but it won't let me do that.
I can start a supply convoy to almost anywhere else but not to Korea.........Why ?

No I don't, double checked that........I actually cancelled all the convoys including resource and took auto off and I still could not start a supply convoy from Fukuoka to Busan.
And Busan makes the most sense cause it already has a depot, has a naval base and is the most direct route.
There's no problem having a resource convoy from Busan to Fukuoka.......just can't do it in reverse.

How can I make a land bridge work between Japan and Korea ?

I have a related question: I'm playing as Japan (First paradox game/campaign!) and I'm manually running a convoy from Fukuoka to Tangshan that is supposed to carry oil and supplies, but despite the fact that I have more than 8,000 oil the convoy would carry almost zero oil and fill up 95-99 percent of its capacity with supplies, regardless if that particular convoy had 15 or 100 ships in it.

No, I'm not running seriously low on supplies and I have plenty of both oil and supplies in my capital storage.

So I tried running a second convoy with only oil to any other province on the mainland, but the convoy screen wouldn't let me pick another port there! (at least not until I had removed the convoy going to Tangshan) I also tried excluding supplies from the convoy altogether, but it would STILL not pick up a single unit of oil from the mainland stores. Meanwhile, my tanks, engineers and semi-motorized cavalry had to be excluded from the campaign.

So I turned on the automation feature and voila, I was supplied with oil again.

Two things I noticed:
- The AI elected to run two convoys from Japan to the mainland, to the depleted depot at Busan and to Tangshan. Both carried plenty of oil and supplies.
- When I played around with the convoys I noticed that the convoy screen showed that any convoy running from Fukuoka to Busan would be able to pick up 0/99 oil and 0/99 supplies. However, when I looked at the same screen running a convoy to Tangshan the resource counters read 0/0 oil and 0/99 supplies.

Why had Busan all of a sudden become the only possible province to run oil to? This is especially confusing since Tangshan was able to receive plenty of oil AND supplies earlier in the campaign.

Korea has enough IC that it qualifies for remote production. You can not setup supply convoys because Korea is already being treated like it is directly connected to the capital. Resources still need to be shipped by convoy, but supplies and oil should automatically appear in Korea.

That would explain me not being able to send supplies & oil to the Asian continent from Japan.
But that unfortunately does'nt help my armies fighting in China and constantly running low and out of supplies.
Which would explain why my superior armies are having a rough time with the lowly Chinese.

But I fixed the problem.
I created a land bridge between Hiroshima and Busan.
Went into maps and added a line in "adj - defs" file

Now that I know how to do that I can create all kinds of havoc.....lol.
A land bridge between England and France perhaps.

But I WAS able to initiate convoys from Japan to Busan once I had allowed my supplies in Tangshan to run out. And that does not explain the fact that I was able to run oil to Busan, but not to Tangshan...
