Can't update EU2

Look at the sticky thread named "Self help Guide"
Notice that "1. Uninstall" is a hot link, follow that link and unistall EU2.

Then do a fresh install from CD, then install patch 1.07.
 
Does it work okay if you play with the earlier patches?
 
What is the latest patch you can play?
