Can't Upgrade To 1.08!!!

As you can tell by now, I am having problems trying to upgrade to 1.08. I guess the Paradox Website is temporarily shutdown, so I have tried other mirrors (two I believe). When the download is completed and it begins to extract, it says something about the file is corrupted. I don't know what is going on, but I am getting pretty upset. Could someone help me? PLEASE?!!!!
 
Castellon EDIT: It is recommended that you do a fresh install from your CD and then just apply this 1.08 patch. However it will work if patching over an earlier patch. We cannot garauntee that a save game from an earlier version will work with the new version though.

Maybe that would help? I dunno exactly for sure.
 
I tried to and it doesn't work. I didn't have the game installed on my computer. So, I installed it on there and, after it was done, I tried to upgrade it. But, it says the file (upgrade) is corrupt. The weird thing is that it came from another mirror.
 
Well, I can't even choose the directory. Here is what comes up:

The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity, and try again.

But, I have tried it twice and it doesn't work. But, I haven't tried from the Official Paradox Website (it is currently unavailable). So, are there any other things I could do?

PS: I have spent some hours trying to figure out what is going on.
 
Well, figure something out... 1.08 is the best!
 
Maybe you simply need to update your unpacker.

First delete the file you downloaded.
Second empty your internet cache (tempory Files)
Third look at the sticky thread in this forum labeled "Latest patch is 1.08"
Notice that the links to the patches are there and can be download from Paradox.
Download the correct patch and install it.
