Can't upload mod to steam with the mod tool. Help?

I contacted Paradox support, and I was told to seek help here.

I uploaded my mod to steam, but it didn't have a thumbnail. So i tired to update the mod to have one, but when it refused to upload it. So I deleted the mod and tired to re upload the mod. Now I can't upload my mod to steam. Every time I do I get a blank mod uploaded with no files, no picture, or anything.

"Error uploading mod" when trying to upload. When I click fetch info it says "Mod found on steam workshop". Then it upload a blank mod with no files, name or anything.

If you're subscribed to your own mod, it will cause errors when uploading.

Yep, you must unsuscribe from your mod and delete the .mod file from the mod folder.
You must also make sure that the name in the .mod file is exactly the same as the name of your mod on the Workshop.

Nope not subscribed to it. It's not even upload on steam.

I would advise backing up your mod files, deleting the whole "mod" folder, deleting the "workshop" folder, then verifying the integrity of game cache via steam and try to reupload.
(helped me in the past for a similar problem)

Not subscribed to it. Deleted the .mod file and tried from scratch. Made sure the name in the .mod file is exactly the same as the name of your mod on the Workshop. Nothing is working.

Well, i'm at a loss. The best I can do now is ask you to upload your mod here, i'll download it, try to upload it and see what may be wrong.
If I can upload it, it means it's not your fault and there's a bug somewhere.

You can't use a .png as thumnail. Use a jpeg.
