so i was wondering if anyone could tell me if anyone has actually done an alternate start mod that alters what you get to start with based on your character background choices? it would be nice to start of with something other than a blackjack depending on where you originated from.

Even just a randomization of the starting lance for career mode would be nice.

There are a couple of things like that on nexus.
There is also a save editor that doesn't require modtek.
You start game as normal then edit save taking away and adding what you want to start with.
I have used the random camping start mod.and the save editor both work well
