How do you know what challenges you get? We started the game with one, but it never told us what the challenge was. All I know, is as we were going through, we suddenly lost even though all three of us were still up.

At the moment I have no idea what challenges do, it's extremely difficult just on the regular difficulty without challenges, I'm scared to attempt adding any right now. xD
Challenges show up in the center of your screen generally when the match starts. The challenge is random.
Yeah it never showed up. And for that matter, I've noticed there aren't very man synergy items that they spoke about in the dev interviews. Increase crit chance, life steal and what near only apply to the person who has it. Only things that apply to the party are the things that says, "you and your party".
