I head that it is possible to alter the states you can play in the Grand Campaign using the "IGC". What is the IGC and where do I get it? Forgive a simple man who's owned EU since it's been out but who need to quit his job to have time to be as addicted as he'd wanted to be.

And know that your game is really becoming popular among some of the leading strategists in the country. And I'm not talking about gaming strategists either. ;-)

You can download IGC from Europa Ascendant

Be sure to run patch.exe before starting the game and if you want to change countries, use igconfig.exe

Hope it helps

Wrong language :D Should be aitähh

You dont even need the IGC you can play any country right now. Just go into c:\program files\paradox\Scenarios (i think thats the right path) In the scenarios folder you will find all the scenarios the game comes with, copy the one called Grand campaign and save it with a new name. I called mine minor countries, Then open this with word pad and down the left of the screen the major countries are listed with their three letter codes. ie. ENG for England, RUS for russia etc etc. After their three letter code is a load of other stuff you dont have to worry about. Just change the 3 letter code of one of them to the first three letters of the minor country you want to play, ie OMA for Oman. Then save your new scenario, with its new name, start EU and you should have the option to play a new scenario (what ever you named it) with what ever minor countries you put in.

Important make sure you copy and rename the original so if you make any mistakes you wont mess up your GC.
