Changing game speed ingame on a notebook.

On my notebook I cannot change the game speed ingame by pressing ctrl and -/+.

My notebook has not got a separate numeric keyboard. Is there any way to quickly changing game speed ingame without a numeric keyboard?
It is a bit tedious having to go into menu > options > game speed :(

My old pc had a keyboard with a numeric sidekeyboard...and changing game speed ingame was so much easier.
Unfortunaly I am at the moment stuck with this notebook.
 
Ususally there is a key or combination of keys that turn a portion of your keyboard into a number pad. Consult your laptop manual for details.
