Changing Music/Looping Playlist Problem

Since the game's music is MP3 its nice and easy to add your own music files to the game but I do have a problem.
Roughly the same five tracks keep playing over and over, sometimes the same one two or three times in a row. I have about 20 tracks in the music folder but have yet to hear all of them even after 5hours of straight playing Once in a while a different one will play but mostly its the same five or so.

I have taken out all the music that came with the game. All new tracks are in MP3 format and work fine. I have changed the music.txt and removed the track titles from the original music and entered in the title of all the tracks in the music folder.

Is there something else I need to do? Do I need to number the titles in the music.txt file?

I haven't tried changing up the game music with my own mp3s yet, so the only suggestion I can offer is to play the music through winamp instead.

What is the full path to your music directory?

are you sure all the tracks are in the music folder?
are you sure they all are named correctly in the music.txt file?

The 5 tracks who get played, are they tracks 1 to 5 in your txt file? If you put other tracks in between, do you get the same result?

Also, are there any spaces in any of your track names? I have no idea if this would make a difference but I noticed all the default track names do not have spaces.

try to rename all your music files to 8.3 format (ex: mysong01.mp3) just to see if it makes differences...
