I was wondering... Generally each games offer an option to change screen resolution. I'm a classic geeks... I have an old screen 800*600 and the games seems way to big. I can't see all the options on the game screen and the loading page is way to big too ! I cant event see the download bar.

So, any way to modify the screen resolution.

(Yeah yeah, my english is bad but im french... Don't laugh about it !)

Try the file settings.cfg
 
Hmm... Where do I find the settings configuration? It isnt in my CK file.
 
You mean you have no file named that in your CK directory?
 
Yep. Only the game interface files, the read me, the CK.exe, etc. But there is no file named settings.cfg...
 
Well I do not have one but then again I have an internal copy, but someone told me the retail copies had that file. Okay I will check into it for you.

The answer is that there is only one res in CK.
What is the problem that leads you to want to change it?
 
Which resolution is that? I have my screen resolution set on 800 x 600 and every time I quit a game it shows the surrender screen and then it ctd...
 
IIRC 1024x768.

Also make sure you have:
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.

Yeah. No more ctds after quiting.
 
Change the res of your desktop. ;)
 
You can set it to 1280x1024 and then select things like large Icons and a higher DPI.
