I have Hearts of Iron 2 in Germany, but want to play the game in English. Earlier in the forum it listed the file that needed to be altered, but now I cannot seem to find it. Can someone tell me what I need to change?

Note, this will not work for some localized versions of the game, because the english translation may be missing altogether. That is to say, the game should have 4 or 5 possible languages normally, but some versions of the game may be missing a few. To see if you might have this issue, open the config\messages.csv file. If there are multiple languages in it then you should be able to switch to Eng from Ger by editing the settings.cfg as shown above.
