Hello when you press the Characters Tab under your clan leader. All the list of characters its shows as you scroll down, are they the complete list of all the characters in the game amongst all the different rulers and their courts. Or are they just the characters associated with your clan that are dotted around by marriage and their offspring in the different clan courts across the map. I just wondered if anyone knows this to clarify, thanks for any help.

It should be all of them, but perhaps it's just ones you can actually interact with. Either way, it's a lot.

You can use the filters to adjust it for your purposes, such as browsing your family, clan, etc. But I always just click on my leader's picture and browse his immediate family window, along with the vassal and courtier tabs on the right. And the same for browsing other NPC leader's family & retainers. Since there are marriage and plot lists, of available characters for use with those actions, I don't have to search the 'big' list much at all. I suspect that big list setup may come in more handy with CK2 since it will have more interaction options and character details that need to be sorted.

Thanks for the reply. Thats what i do mainly when i interact with the AI players. Click on one of the kori states then work my way up to the head clan leader and look at his vassals to see what their opinions are.

You can click the flag and then locate the leader (to kill or steal honor) right from there...

Thanks for that! One final thing when you want to marry someone and you have the list of potential suitors. There are three tabs at the top; Tier,Dynasty and Opinion. I still cant work out what the Tier is when you click on it? What exactly does the order of suitors mean in that order? Still cant work it out. Does anyone know what it means? Hope for some ideas thanks.

Clicking on TIER would list down characters that are leader of their clans to the top of the list (by tier). But there is no way to know where the list separates between clan leader and less ranking personels, you gotta hover your mouse to make sure.

This actually happened to me last night Nanbu & Kasai to my north was strong in my game ( I was Osaki), and in a war with Date & Momegi in the south. So to placate them I married my daughters to their clan leaders, I click on TIER those 2 clan leaders appear on top of the list conviniently. And their relationship to me was Green. Couple of months later they are at war at each other.

I have a save game before I made the move to marry my daughters, and later married them to someone else. In that game Nanbu & Kasai endup declaring war on me in the middle of my war with the south.

Thanks for the reply. Thats what i thought and it works when you look at your court. But when you are looking for someone to marry and you see the list of suitors its hard to tell what the order is. I wasnt sure if it was to do with the most powerful clans are the top and as you go down you end up with suitors from lesser clans. But i dont think so now. I do find it hard say if i want to marry my sons off and i want to marry say into another clan nearby. Having to first pick out the clan leader then working all my way through his clan then his vassals to see if there are any women available to marry my clan leader or his sons etc to.
