Chatting in MP ~ Question

I saw the host typing in yellow and myself in white, however i could not see anyone else typing but could see the host engaging in "other" conversations.

Is this because, with the large games now possible, swamping the chat screen with a potential 24 players worth of chat is seen as somewhat undesirable

I am just curious.

he did not unclick you to see his convo's.

AKA when u hit tab and go to ask someone something all the names are in yellow. Click the ones you DONT want to see what you say and they turn white.

He simply let u see his stuff.

Johan has added "None" "all" and "allied" hotkeys. This makes things much easier, especially when there are 18 some players

i miss the colors, myself.
all these new improvements are confusing to say the very least.
for those of us who arent in your american playgroup, how does one toggle the ally chat?

I haven't tried the very latest chat changes, but for the first set they worked like this:

None unset all countries so you could just click on the one or two country names you want to see your message.

Allies sets it so only members of your military alliance see your message.

Both are very useful additions.
