Checksums match. Still cannot join MP.

Both checksums are vblv. I am using version 1.2 Arma vanilla. They say they are using version 1.2 arma vanilla.. I'm clueless as to why they're different.

Worse.. after attempting to join a match with what appears to be a similar install and getting that message, the multiplayer chat screen on Valk locks up and I have to ctrl+alt+delet, alt+tab, then alt+f4 then "end now" the game to get it to shut down. Music continues to play. You can type in chat and hit enter, but Valk does not post your entry and stops responding. Anyone have an idea what may be amiss?

This happens sometimes, not sure why. If you have a router, that may be causing your grief, check out the router setup sticky. Sometimes your game will freeze up when you try to join another game, even with the same version. And yes, you will have to Cntrl-Alt-Del or even hold your power button in to shut down. It's all part of the fun......lol NOT! Good luck!!

I think in next version they should lock some basic multi player files from modification and only allow mod specific player files to be changed.. *chuckles and shakes his head*
