Like the post mentioned. I'm seeing a lot of alternative history being add. China civil war feel off. The retreat of the National China government to Taiwan. And a frozen conflict. And Korea being add as a dlc. Interducing early cold war. And the Phasing out of units types in game. The game is already introducing us to early cold War theme.

Korea is well out of scope for the game. It would be an enormous effort to bridge the game to 1950, nevermind sustain it through 53.
Eh... Gotterdammerung adds a whole bunch of tech that takes us straight into the mid/late-50s. As do some of the latest focus trees. So the arguement can be made it's roughly been brought into the games scope.

That said, the OPs complaints dovetails with how the very late-game in the whole does need some revamping. There needs to be proper post-war political/demobilization mechanics and a means to deal with obsolescent focuses, like (for example) how the Soviet occupation zone winds up eternally stuck with the "Economy of Conquest/Economic Collapse" focus.

India has like, a focus that the AI won't take until 47 but as far as I'm aware nothing stops the player from doing so early. Similarly while there are a lot of projects that are only realistically achievable post-war there aren't that many projects overall and it's one of the biggest downsides to the system. A lot of projects are effectively dead content. Most of the tech tree and the vast majority of the focus trees run out of meaningful content somewhere around 43 or 44. Going out to Korea would realistically require more than doubling every focus tree in the game, the insertion of actual mobilization/demobilization mechanics, a mass revamp to the economic/industry system to massively expand the available build slots and prevent excessive stockpiling of equipment (already an issue), and a lot more. You could lazily expand the tech tree pretty easily but I'm probably not alone in wanting more than baby's first mod and would want stuff to do in the five years (more realistically six or seven) between the end of WW2 and beginning of Korea (also a lot of AI scripting and mechanics to produce a somewhat historical Korean War).

It's at least two, maybe three, major expansions worth of work. It would be a much better use of resources to work on HOI5.

The economic system of HOI4 is not built for more than a 6-year lifespan.

If you want to go down the Cold War route, you need to turn it into something like "Stellaris economics" with 4-5 essential resources (Food, Minerals, Energy/Coal, Alloys/Steel, Oil) and simulate Civilian consumption (with shortages producing hits to productivity & stability). Even for the current state of the game, it's long overdue.

Otherwise, you'll see crazier stuff than you already see.
