Garbage facilities fail to spawn garbage trucks

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
At any point in the game, the garbage facilities (either landfill or incinerator) will stop spawning and deploying garbage trucks. When watching them with inspector, they fluctuate with amount of active trucks between 1 and 0. Sometimes, this number goes up, but it fluctuates. Also, no routes will display from any garbage facility. When this bug begins, it's a game ender. I'm playing on PS4.

This happens when the trucks cannot find a route to their desired destination in a reasonable time. This can be caused by bad traffic, too many one way roads, narrow connections between city centres, and so on.

Posting a screenshot with the traffic filter on might help the gameplay experts here see what's causing it in your case.

This is not an issue with traffic flow. It happens in all cities now, even brand new with garbage facilities placed right on a large road. The buildings themselves seem to be glitching.

I am also running into this issue on console (PS4) as well it’s gotten so bad that almost every building in my city is either in red with a garbage issue or they’re just complaining about garbage period. This is extremely frustrating because now my citizens are leaving the city and i went from 159,000 people in my city to 126,000 people because of this and everything else is tanking along with the huge drop in population and I think this issue is also effecting the other services as well (deathcare, police and fire and healthcare) please devs fix these issues!!

There is the possibility that your hitting vehicle limit. Services will try to spawn and fail due to being at the limit. Your city will begin to fail. Try to improve traffic flow %. Get your citizens to use mass transit. A screen shot of your traffic flow% map showing red indicates heavy traffic lines, would be useful to help diagnose. Set service to no more than 125%, it does not help to go higher.
