Impossible to save game progress on Xbox Series X.

What is your game version?
Cities Skylines Remastered

What expansions do you have installed?
Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Parklife, Industries, Campus, Sunset Harbor, Airports

What mods are you using?


Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
From a map size of more than 16 mb it is no longer possible to save the game! An error message appears, nothing more. Since there hasn't been any feedback from you yet, I'll repeat the description of the problem!! Please fix it urgently, otherwise your game will no longer make sense!

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Same here. I just lost one week of work in 300k population city.

Other players have reported a workaround where you have to turn off the autosave option and then attempt a manual save.

Just tried it. It worked for a few mins then the error came back

We are aware of it and are investigating.
What would be helpful would be the following

• Were any cheats used such as Unlock all, or 25 tiles?
• Was Quick resume enabled? (specifically this one)
• Was it a base game map or a custom one?
• Which console are you playing on?
• Save game size

This only works once. Then the issue happens again. You are able to save that first manual save as long as you do it before the auto save timer. After that you have to quit restart the game and repeat the process to change 1 road.

1) I don`t have any cheats enabled.
2) Quick resume also not enabled.

Receive error and cannot save game just over 16mb in size.

Yes, every time you try to save the game.
