CK Complete loading CTD HELP

I cannot run this game. When it is in the first loading screen it hangs on initializing graphics. It gives an unhandled exception with the number 0X00415685.
It is from Amazon but I don't think that matters.

I am running a windows 8 tablet. the requirements are plenty. two gb of ram & a dual core atom processor. For the Glory does load everything. I only found one potentially relavent thread and it was on gamers gate. the solution posted was to change my system to 16 bit color. unfortunately this tablet only has 32 as an option. I doubt it but would the steam version make a difference? I purchased ck complete on amazon and it doesn't give a key I can register with steam.

You haven´t installed you game in the C:\programs folder?

It is 16 bit color, not the actual application.

EDIT: I just found a way to run ck in 16 bit color depth but the result is the same.

i found the exceptions log.
