Hi Guys,

Although played several dozen EU2 GCs and AGCEEP games, I've never branched out to any other games in the series. (Well, I tried EU3, but my only Windows comp is a desktop I've had for six years and it wasn't really up to the task of playing it)

I've decided to go whole hog and get all the rest of the games with an Amazon gift card I got for Christmas. I want to start a game in CK and play it through Doomsday. Before I make my purchases, can someone confirm what titles and versions I need to have so that I get everything I need?

I currently have EU2, and while I'm not at home, I think it's v 1.09. I'm planning on purchasing

CK complete
Vicky and Revolutions (amazon doesn't have a boxed copy of vicky complete)
HoI II and Doomsday (there's also a HoI anthology with Armaggedon...should I get that instead?)

Do I have it all right? Are there any issues with importing one save into another game I need to know about? Is there an FAQ somewhere about this? Thanks everyone!

Well both CK DV and V:R have a converter made by Paradox. For a converter from EU2 to Vicky you will have to check the EU2 modification subforum.

Just thought I'd pop in with a little update.

I love this game. :)

Last night, after my wife and I got home from a movie. She went to bed and I sat down to play for a couple hours. I played from 10pm to 7am. Suffice to say, the wife wasn't too thrilled.

One thing, though, my system seems to chug a little bit while running it. I'm not running anything in the background on the computer, which although five years old, has an Athlon 64 3500+ processor and 3 GB of RAM. Particularly, the game lags for a second or two at the turn of every month. Anyone have suggestions on how to improve performance?

This game is magnificent. Too much fun. Thank you, Paradox. Deus Vult!
