One line summary of your issue
3.0.1.1 (ONDO) Kill vassal leader, lose my capital?

Game Version
3.0.1.1 (ONDO)

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
My capital was inherited by the son of a revolt leader, after I killed said revolt leader in a battlefield duel. Said capital was not within the de jure or de facto territory of the revolt, nor did the son have a claim to the county. The rebellious territory immediately went under my control after I killed the leader.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Playing as RE. RE has been restored, Great Schism has been mended.

k_Italy (viceroy) has revolted because I've tried to retract a vassal (c_oriveto). I find the army with the rebel leader in it, and engage with my own army with my Emperor in it. The two leaders duel, I win, and kill the rebel leader as part of the battle.

k_italy is now under my control, but c_constantinople (my capital, which is in my demesne) is immediately inherited by the rebel leader's son, who is/was the heir to c_oriveto. In addition, my warscore is weird. Battles is at 100%, Occupation is at 0%, and I have a massive warscore malus for "Attacker controls all their holdings", even though I took rebel holdings during the war.

I was able to take c_constantinople, and move my capital back there, but it was irritating.

Tell me how to upload an ironman cloud save, and I'll send it.
