One line summary of your issue
(3.0) Random World, Random Assyrians

Game Version
3.0

What expansions do you have installed?
All of the above

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
In the Randomized World, non-Assyrians are sometimes generated with ethnically Assyrian children (as determined with charinfo). I've mostly seen it for African cultured rulers, though that might just be the obvious skin color contrast.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
It happens even with the default settings for Randomized World, but setting religions and cultures to have historical names makes it much easier to find. Then start up the game and look at rulers of African cultures until you find some ethnically unlikely children.

This problem still exists in patch 3.0.1. I wonder if my attempt at a clever title hurts the chance of this being noticed.

This can also occur when a Merchant Republic is created and the patricians get generated families. I created an MR with a mayor of Oriya culture, and his vassal patricians have ethnically Assyrian siblings. In light of this discovery, I regret my title even more.

This still happens in 3.2.1, but now there's a corresponding ethnicity problem for other cultures: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...families-have-noculture-as-ethnicity.1190177/ I posted in there about which cultures I found with which incorrect ethnicity, but I'll put the lists here too for convenience.

Whether generated family members are incorrectly assigned noculture or assyrian seems to be dependent on culture group. A list of cultures I've tested that result in assyrian ethnicity: Daju, Nubian, Kanuri, Ethiopian, Oriya, Tamil (so African and Dravidian culture groups). A list of cultures I've tested that result in noculture ethnicity: Bedouin, Levantine, Turkish, Marathi, Bulgarian, French, Norwegian.
