Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After conquering Constantinople in a Holy war. I was Orthodox Merchant Republic Emperor as a heresy. Iconoclasts were the dominate religion. I have since converted the Constantinople province to Orthodox. I have made Iconoclast a heresy of Orthodoxy. I have repair/restored the Hagia Sophia back to working order. I getting bombarded with events to convert the Hagia Sophia to the true Orthodox faith. I was also able to duplicate this with Catholicism. Schism is not mended.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be a non-dominate orthodox religion and conquer Constantinople.
