If your character has either trait you, you can gain the opposite through the "aspire to be like your ancestor" bloodline event and you will keep both traits.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Have a character that has either content or ambitious. Have a character who formed a bloodline have the opposite trait. Use console command to trigger the event.
