Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I got the event whereby my wife confessed that her child was not mine, and so although I am still the father, my daughter was given the bastard trait and a random dynasty.

Despite this, she is still listed as my heir and set to inherit all my titles. For some reason the game has not 'refreshed' the succession, which this event should have done. It might fix itself but I am not sure.

I have a mod enabled but it doesn't alter anything related to this issue.

Have you tried quitting and reloading? I believe that forces a succession recalculation.

It did so eventually, but it took a while and seemed to happen quite randomly. I know there's an event command to do this, and so I am wondering if it is perhaps missing from this particular event, as it should happen immediately.

Also, the event that causes this - where your wife seeks sanctuary and then decides to inform you that you're not the father - is way too common. I am seeing it happen often with AI characters.
