Could you upload your log and cache folders? And then check if deleting the cache folder, disabling your antivirus, or starting the game with steam offline solves the issue?

Glad to hear that it's working now. You can upload a folder by making it into a .zip, .rar, or .7zip file and then upload it with your comment. Google "create zip file" or something similar and find out how to do that on your platform.
If you or anyone else still have a copy of a cache-folder that prevents startup and could upload it, it would help me find what the cause of the issue is and create a bugfix that prevents this from happening again to you or other players.
