Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Crash to desktop during play for no apparent reason. Occurred multiple time from autosave before and after clean install. Campaign started before Holy Fury release

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Did clean install and video driver update:
1) moved save files to another location
2) used Steam to uninstall game
3) deleted CK2 folder and CK2 steam folder
4) used Steam to reinstall game, verified file integrity, then set to v2.8.3.4
5) moved save file to new 'save file' in CK folder in My Documents
6) Updated Nvidia driver

Quick update. The crash to desktop seems to happen when I am in a drop down screen interface.

I may have found the problem: Holy Fury DLC.

I turned HF off and my game hasn't crashed since. I'm not using it anyway as this is an old campaign (2.8.3.4). I did notice portraits changed and my levy levies took a hit. But I can live with a less flattering picture of myself and lower levies if the game is stable!

I may have found the problem: Holy Fury DLC.

Considering that Holy Fury wasn't meant to work with versions earlier than 3.0, this is highly likely.
