I was playing as the Byzantine Empire, my empire was huge and my threat has always been >90%, so most AI rulers joined a defensive pacts against me, but every time I saved (ironman, default rules by the way) and logged out of the game, then reopened the saved file and played, almost all AI rulers left the defensive pacts against me and then rejoined about an in-game month later.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Ramp up your threat so other AI rulers join a defensive pacts against you
2. Saved the game then logged out
3. Logged back in
4. Wait a week or so
5. AI rulers start leaving the pacts
6. Wait a month or so
7. AI rulers start joining back in
