Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When I reformed the Hellenic faith as a Merchant Republic Roman Empire the past two runs, taking temporal leaderships results in the title defaulting to gavelkind and will almost always be lost on succession and as a MR, the law cannot be changed.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Started as Ragusa twice, once in 769 and once in 869, got a claim on the Byzantine Empire and claimed it from within, resulting in a MR ERE. Formed Rome as normal, became Hellenic, and reformed with temporal leadership.
