Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I was trying to revoke a county for the Duke of Neufoud who had land outside of his duchy. I fired the decision and the Duke actually accepted and gave me the county, and after I successfully took the county I immediately gave it out again. This seems to have locked my Plot button into "plot in motion" and I cannot cancel it. For some bizarre reason, it also changed the target to the guy i gave it to.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Start Plot to revoke county outside of dejure duchy.
2. Target Accepts
3. same day had out title to dejure owner.
4. Plot is stuck.

I should also mention that quitting out does not fix it. The save is also Ironman so this is somewhat concerning.

Yeah, unfortunately I believe that it records the plot as complete when you have the county, but it will only register like a day or so after you actually get it. If you are on iron man I'm afraid that getting the county back may be the only way to resolve this issue. :(

(Well, or dying, which will obviously clear it.)

Dang, that’s pretty annoying. So I’ve got to just revoke the county and eat the penalty. This kinda removes the whole point of the plot in the first place. I was actually surprised that he accepted the revocation as that almost never happens.

Well, you can use the plot, and if they accept just let the game go forward one day until it pops the plot completion and you'll be golden. Problem is that only helps next time, not now. :(

And yeah, the mechanics for this plot are extremely funky. IIRC it only takes into account plot strength, and not the actual relative power of the plotter and target. Since plot power is very hard to get high, this explains those situations where a one-province count takes up arms against the combined might of an emperor of a united Europe.
