My heir was left to his own devices for a while and secretly converted to romuva while emperor of Byzantium and was excommunicated, after succession i did a declaration of repentance and accepted the patriarch's demand for gavelkind, this got rid of imperial elective and unlocked all other other normal succession types as well.
