Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Most of the players probably stumbled on the bug were characters will refuse to stop backing a plot that has already ended(usually because main plotter agreed to end plot already) giving you reason to imprison them.
This is a similar bug. Retracting vassalage takes time, and while waiting for response, vassal who is being retracted can stop being a vassal(I tried with failed imprisonment, vassal abdicates and flees to another realm, might works with granting higher tier title also). When time comes for the higher tier vassal to accept/refuse retraction, he is not able to agree and revolts against tyranny.
This gets more interesting when the higher tier vassal is already imprisoned by you. He still revolts, dragging anyone who dislikes you into war against tyranny, but he stays imprisoned by you, giving you instant 100% warscore, making you able to enforce demands and make him surrender, along with all the vassals who dared to join him.
This is pretty broken. And since plot imprisonment bugs were left unfixed for this long, not really expecting this to get fixed, especially since CK3 will probably be main focus.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Be at least a duke so you can have vassals that can have vassals themselves.
Have a vassal A that's at least count level.
Have a vassal B, that is lower level than vassal A, as vassal to vassal A(or as your direct vassal, you you can transfer his contract to vassal A, works even when A is already imprisoned).
Successfuly imprison vassal A.
Initiate retracting vassal contract of vassal B from vassal A.
Attempt imprisonment on vassal B. If it succeeds, release and try again untill it fails and vassal B flees.
Let gametime progress to vassal A can give his response to retraction.
Vassal A is unable to agree and refuses retraction, declaring war against tyranny, your other vassals may join him.
Because vassal A is still in your prison, you have 100% warscore.
Force surrender, vassal A stays in your prison, anyone who joined his war is also automatically imprisoned when war ends.
