Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
Currently I'm playing an Empire with Tanistry Succession, with no count, duke, or king vassals (as I have revoked all of them to control the vote). In this save I have no children, but as far as I'm aware, that shouldn't matter since I have tanistry succession.

When I unpause to the next day, for some reason I game over, and the game seems to think I have abdicated the throne, despite not having any wars that would do that.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Just play a day and you'll see.

Playing full "NK mode" can cause issues.
Besides, took quite a long time to load that save for me.
Better use a cheat mod giving yourself a trait or modifier with 1000+ opinion. That would be my recommendation.

You are apparently dying in that battle.
I checked the character window to not lead armies. I could play on further, but died for another reason on the 24th of january.
Duel, plot, i don't know.
This time though it seems the second man in line inherited, instead of the slavic woman.
At least that was whom all the title got transfered to, as shown by the messages top right.
No idea why you get a game over. NK mode doesn't make it easier.
Playing in it is also not exactly how the game is supposed to play, thus i doubt that you'll get much further response, but who knows..

I'll load the save a third time to see if i find something else, but doubt it.

PS: Wait, soemhow all your titles seem to get transfered to Shahansha Hassan. who is likely not your dynasty,
Load a fourth time to check...
Probably an issue with your open elective succession.
By the way, not tanistry, as you are shiite.

I'm not playing with any mods. The game is ironman, and I'd prefer not to mess around with mods since I'm aiming for achievements.
