Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When you order a Catholic courtier to take the vows, he will join one of the Catholic monastic societies (Benedictines and Dominicans) with a 50/50 chance of either.
Benedictines will allow Catholic heresies to join if they have achieved mainstream status and Catholicism has become a heresy. The Dominicans, however, will never allow anyone but Catholics to join.
Currently when a follower of a Catholic heresy that has displaced Catholicism is ordered to take the vows, he will always join the Dominicans (that only allow Catholics) rather than the Benedictines (that allow dominant former heresies), resulting in them being kicked out the next day and having no society membership.
I tracked this down to decisions\dynasty_decisions.txt where lines 439-445 determine which society the courtier joins. Currently at line 441 a trigger is placed where only Catholics join the Benedictine order. This is misplaced, and should be moved out of the Benedictine block and into the Dominican block.
I am attaching a screenshot of the relevant script.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1. Have a Catholic heresy displace Catholicism as the dominant religion, so that Catholicism becomes a heresy.
2. Order a follower of the newly dominant faith to take the vows.
