One line summary of your issue
Strange Beams of Light

Game Version
3.3.2 (IIVC)

What expansions do you have installed?

Charlemagne,
Sons of Abraham,
The Old Gods,
Legacy of Rome,
Holy Fury

Do you have mods enabled?
No

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
When using council members or retinues, strange beams of light are emitted from their models. They only entirely obscure the screen when the camera is centered on top of them. When the models are off screen or the camera is zoomed out enough, no obscurity is present. I have tried restarting the game and the computer, but the issue still occurs. I've verified game file integrity, uninstalled and reinstalled twice (on the second time I deleted my game files before reinstalling), still nothing. I did not have this issue with the council members before I installed Holy Fury. I got Charlemagne and Legacy of Rome at the same time today. On experiments, by disabling Charlemagne, the retinues did not have any problems, but I'm not entirely confident it is dependent on having Charlemagne active. To be sure, I also uninstalled the various dlcs I have, to no effect. I find the issues occur more often when Germanic than Christian. I can only verify that retinues are problematic for both religions. I have provided visuals of the problem, I apologize for their poor quality.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
For the retinues, choose one with heavy infantry troops and advance time. As the retinue fills, the bug manifests. For the council member, it occurs when they are sent on any mission in a county. I used to think this was random, but I now believe it only happens when the council member is female.

Update: From further experimenting, I have learned that summoning mercenaries (I believe they must have heavy infantry in them) also causes the bug. To clarify, even AI retinues and mercenaries make it happen. When declaring war, my screen would become filled the rays emitted from their models, making it basically unplayable because I couldn’t see anything I needed to. Also, I have learned some more things about the councilors as well. When playing as a Saxon Germanic, there were no issues (even if the council member was female), but as a Norse Germanic there were. The Seer position, interestingly enough is an exception, as even when female and Norse, the bug didn’t show. I seriously hope someone responds soon, because I don’t know what I can do at this point.

Edit: Did some more experiments. It would appear that hiring mercenaries and retinues only causes the bug before the 1066 start date. The councilors unfortunately still have the same problem even at 1066.
