Every time a player goes onto a pilgrimage, he will never return, gets no events and always have the "Away from court" modifier.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Join Monastic Society
Press decision "Go on pilgrimage"

I have the same thing with no mods.

I believe there were an issue with visiting tombs of saints via monastic societies but I was under the impression that it had been fixed. Does the bug occur in this circumstance only or does it happen regardless of destination?

For me, I had visited the tombs many times before in the same game. The only difference that I can come up with is that I was elected to King of Germany while on the Pilgrimage.
