Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I am playing a game as France, my son, who was the Duke of York which is outside my realm, inherited my kingdom after I died. I had the Pope crown me but in order for him to agree I had to declare an excommunication war to depose a relative. Afterward, I was crowned and am now not able to declare wars because I am apparently in revolt despite the fact that I am an independent kingdom at peace. This is in ironman mode so there's no using a console here; additionally, I tried reloading the game twice to no avail.
