I was playing as Venice, which control another Duchy in Italy. which was contested by another AI, and I lost that war, however instead of losing that Duchy I lost my Venice Island to them. And not only that, I got turned in to a kingdom. It doesn't make any sense at all.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
1.I Got claim Duchy in south Italy from Pope
2.I won, but the region also contested by another AI
3.I surrender, but AI take my venice
