Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I took the "Pay Homage" decision, but for some reason my character wound up at his own rather than his liege's court. He is stuck kneeling before his own (empty) throne. If I try to resume the event, the game will pause with the notification: "Paused by Event: Homage: Taking the Knee" (see third screenshot). I am then unable to continue the game, as I am unable to resolve the event.

Exiting to the main menu and reloading allows me to resume the game. But I have to avoid opening the court interface again until the Homage event has timed out.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Click on the "Resume Court Event" notification.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?

I believe you. The same thing happens to my character, but it's when I petition my liege and he declines and I try to convince him further. I get sent to my court, kneeling before an empty throne. It pauses my game and I can't un-pause. I found your post while looking for bugs like mine. I will keep looking before I post MY bug. but fixing your bug will probably also fix mine as I'm sure they're related.

Same happened here. Have had various issues playing as a king, vassal of an emperor (i.e. we both have a court).

It just happened again in the way the others describe it: I was at my liege's court to petition him. My petition was denied, so I chose the "Wait, hear me out..." option which immediately teleported me back to my own court where I kneeled before my empty throne, unable to unpause.

So as reported by others, the "insist" option is probably linked to this bug. I do not remember having been presented with or choosing such an option when this bug occured the first time, but I may have clicked too fast to notice it.

Maybe the "_name ends" can help to identify what is happening.

I have edited the original post and attached another save file ("petition_test") with the situation: the petition liege action is available and I have exited to the main menu to force a save which is the one I attached. When I petitioned the liege, he denied my request so I insisted again, resulting in me kneeling in my own court.

EDIT: once I reloaded and the event timed out, the "_name ends" appeared again.
