Short summary of your issue CK3 1.1.2 Massive Conversion penalty not mentioned with Syncretic Tenents, also reconsider additive percentages

Game Version 1.1.2

What OS are you playing on?
Windows

What platform are you using?
Steam

Do you have mods enabled? No

Have you tried verifying your game files (Steam only)?
No

How much "pain" is this causing you?
8

Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The description of Syncretic Tenants does not include the massive conversion penalty. Also- what the hell; I am left able to convert people who share a core belief AND people who have no common belief, but if you kinda sorta look like some of my fringe elements is the hardest possible case?

This was seen with a Christian faith that had "Syncretic Folk Traditions".

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Details regarding the lack of information are in screen shot.

Details regarding the design decisions rendering middlingly similar faiths unconvertable are not available to me.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Screen Shot one- the inconvertible county. I can't really place what that value is. It's like 93% of the conversion rate (after removing pluralist malus), or 74.78% of the base rate + my archbishops score, so maybe it's 75% of that?

Screen Shot two- Syncretic Folk Tradition description. Completely neglects the massive penalty.

I have attached a save game
No

It's to bad this is still an issue.
Don't know if it's as intended. But I play with Taltosism as my religion and christian syncretism, it takes me 233 years per county to convert from christianity to taltosism thanks to syncretism.

This is a huge problem. It is completely impossible for me to convert Zayidism. I've tried everything. All my players have the intelligence focus. All my vassals have a single county and are geniuses. There is no way to get the conversion positive. What a joke. It totally ruined my Daura campaign. I'm really pissed off.

This makes Christian, Islamic, Jewish, and Pagan syncretism extremely painful to use because as soon as you get a county of the faith, you can't covert it. And the opinion bonuses hardly make up for it.

Eastern syncretism actually works but maybe it was because I was playing Nestorian, which gets massive conversion buffs (+70% from holy sites + another +33% if you use the default mendicant preachers - as a Nestorian nation or heresy, my chaplain is often sitting around with nothing to do). Going the other direction is hopeless, though, so you couldn't/wouldn't create an ahistorical early Sikhism, for example, as Hinduism with Islamic syncretism.

Greetings!

I was able to confirm that the bug itself got fixed in 1.2.0 release. Additional testing concluded that problem doesn't seem to appear on the current patch - 1.3.1(Corvus). Everything seems to work as intended.

If you got any other problems, please let us know by creating new bug thread!

Cheers!
