Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I have an excommunicated realm priest that I tried to imprison. Failure results in a window informing me of him "fleeing the court", but he doesn't leave the court and still retains his position as a realm priest.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Attempt to imprison an excommunicated realm priest in a religion where the "Clerical Appointment" doctrine is set to "Spiritual, for life."

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
This will most likely work with any imprisonment reason or imprisoning without a reason. Or with "Temporal, for life" doctrine.

Opinion: If this is working as intended to prevent players from getting rid of annoying realm priest by throwing them in jail, there should at least be something to prevent an excommunicated character from serving as realm priest. In what universe does an excommunicated bishop leading a religious community make sense?
