Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Every time I open the royal court, regardless trough the UI or event or decision, the game crashes. Game can progress normally until you get an evet for the royal court. I tried playing a few months to see if it fixes itself, but no luck.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue

I am, tribal Ireland. It crashes when I enter the Court Grandeur screen, Throne Room and Artifacts don't seem to instigate a crash.

Hello,

I am not running a tribal royal court. My game is fully feudal and has been for over 40 years and the court was functioning perfectly fine before that.

Additionally it does not seem to be the same issue, as with me the game crashes every time the Throne Room attempts to load regardless of how.

First of all - apologies that you had to wait this amount of time for a reply. This thread somehow was buried and it should not have happened on our side, especially that your report was already in review.

Unfortunately only now your issue was reproduced on your save and logged into our database. It seems that it is not something that might be fixable retroactively, the save might be corrupted - especially that trying to load it on 1.7.0 results in immediate crash.

Regardless we appreciate your report and when Devs investigate the report themselves they might be able to pin what specifically caused your issue, so it won't happen in the future.

Again, apologies, you shouldn't be forced to wait so long for a reply.

Yeah, that's fine, I logged in to say "4months" but I'm happy that I at least got a response.

If that is any help, i figured out what the initial issue is and managed to play some more, but the game now completely crashes on loading the save. The issue before was that for some reason the Crest of the Papacy was transparent and not showing anything, and since I had a banner in my court as an artifact that was breaking the game when opening the court.

Shame that just playing vanilla is not compatible with Paradoxes own previous patches and game files in which you have put in so many hours go to waste. Never had an issue with updates breaking the game back when I used to wave the skull flag :/
