Windows
What platform are you using?
Steam
Do you have mods enabled? No

Yes
How much "pain" is this causing you?
10
Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
I'll host a saved game, friend will connect and save file will start transferring (normally gets to about 50-80% done), and then midway through, I'll get disconnected from my Paradox account and my friend will drop.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Hosting a game, sorry I can't be more helpful.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Happens repeatedly trying to host, have tested other saved games as well as new games with the same result, so no attached save. Was happening on a two player save file, and have hosted more players in the past without issue, so I'm not sure what's happening there. I've seen similar issues online regarding people being unable to host saved games because of this; I've always been able to host in the past, we had this issue on release as well, but just assumed that it was the Paradox servers getting overwhelmed on release. Have been able to just log back in and brute force it in the past, but this time round after about 45 minutes of trying to host, we just gave up.
If I had to guess, maybe it's timing out of the Paradox servers while I'm transferring the file? But if the issue was on my end, then it surely would have made it impossible for me to send the file to four concurrent players without timing out or lagging? I've also seen posts about people using VPN's to establish a connection and then disabling them, but I would have thought that if that was the issue, then my friend wouldn't be able to establish the initial connection to begin with.
I would just send him the save file and see if he was able to host, but unfortunately I have the pre-order DLC, so he is not able to host the save file from his end. All well and good hosting without that DLC in the future as it's purely cosmetic, but it will be a massive pain in the ass once expansions start coming out if this isn't resolved.
