Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
Playing in Ireland as an Insular ruler, and notice that all of my Insularist vassals have the -5 "Insularism is Astray" penalty against me, an Insularist. An annoying bug, but -5 can be overcome quite easily not a big deal.
Later I notice that Zealous also applies a -35 penalty between Insularist characters which is a much bigger deal.
This applies to every Insularist character, vassal and ruler in my game.
In my current (10+ hour) campaign I have several Zealous vassals and this is now a game-losing bug, as they all hate me, even though we are the same (Insular) religion!
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Start as an Insularist ruler with Insularist vassals (e.g. in Ireland). Check their opinion of you and it will say "Insularism is Astray (modified by Doctrines): -5."
Check Zealous Insularist characters opinions of you - it will have an additional -35 penalty
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
In the attached save game go to the vassal screen, examine the one vassal's opinion of you, and "Insularism is Astray" penalty. Note both vassal and liege are Insular.
Another user on Reddit has suggested that the issue is with the Rite tenet, and that they also experienced the bug with the Mozarabs and solved the issue by reforming and removing the Rite tenet.
Rite has "Considers faiths with the same Head of Faith Astray" - is that misapplying to themselves?
