Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
When 1.6.0 was released it would not play on my machine, there was a large number of users affected, had to do with some process not supported on older intel chips, the devs acknowledged it and about 10-11 days ago put out a patch that fixed it, worked so well I bought the Fates DLC and began a wonderful struggle. Another patch came in ( about 800 MB I believe) when I opened the game this morning and my game will not open again.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
I attached my last save bec ause this forced me too, but this is not representative of the update that came in an hour ago. I am not a avid gamer. CK3 is the only game I play. I have just began exploring EU4 and Stellaris, however I doubt I will invest any more time given these recent events have made CK3 more of an annoyance than an enjoyment.

Heya Sirclive, I am sorry to hear you are currently experiencing problems with launching the game.
In order to best help you, I'll need a couple of more details regarding the crash.

Inside the folder "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\crashes" there should be a folder created that contains logs from the crash (debug.log, error.log, game.log & system.log). Could you update the thread with your logs?

In addition, please reinstall the game and make sure all mods are turned off to make sure they aren't interfering with the launch of the game. As with any updates, you may have to wait until your mod author has updated their mods before you can use them.

Not much of a mod user, especially on new content, so they are normally turned off. I checked the crash folder but it was empty, as I was unable to boot up the loader, not sure if there was any crash to log. uninstalled and reinstalled everything - and it worked. I should have done that before posting, but I assumed it was related to the earlier issue... Thank you for your attention and assistance.
