Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
My character was brtually mauled randomly. Wasn't in battle or anything. I sent him to varangian guard a few months before he inherited before he got the return event so my theory is he is still actually a knight in the byzantine court because they are currently in a war.

Please explain how to reproduce the issue
Not sure since it is random chance if you'll even get wounded while serving.

Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Sent your heir to the varangian guard right before you die.
