Please explain the issue you experienced in the most condensed way possible
The current ruler of Hörðaland, Norway in 867 is the wrong person. The correct one exists in the norse character files, but is a landless wanderer in that bookmark.
Currently ruling:
ID: 186013
Name: Eirikr
Dynasty: av Hordaland
Is too young and has no family, which is contradicting to sources.
Should be ruling:
ID: 166329
Name: Eirikr
Dynasty: Horðalandi
Is older and has the daughter Gyda (ID: 166044) as described in saga sources.
From Wikipedia:
Eirik King of Hordaland (Old Norse: Eiríkr Konungr á Hǫrðalandi) was a king of Hordaland, then a petty kingdom in western Norway, in the late 9th century. Eirik was the father of Gyda. Eirik lead the first attack against Harald Fairhair at the Battle of Hafrsfjord. Defeated by Harald, Eirik fell; many of his allies were also killed in the battle.
It's not a critical issue, but should take at the most 3 minutes to fix, and it makes it worse when this bug has been around throughout all of CK2.
Please explain how to reproduce the issue
This issue is present in any 867 bookmark game. Search for "Eirikr" in the character finder and you will find the true Eirikr and his daughter as courtiers in a random place.
Is there anything else you think could help us identify/replicate the issue?
Not to identify, but to fix:
1. Open k_norway file in history folder.
2. Locate ID 186013 as titleholder of c_hordalandi in 867.
3. Replace ID with 166329.
