CK Shuts Down My Computer??!

Playing along, declare war on the King of Germany, all is going well. While fighting a battle in Meissen, the game suddenly CtDs. "Oh, well" I think, but not only does the game shut down, it physically shuts down my computer as well!! No damage was done (I hope...) but I'm still worried, if CK can shut down my computer, God knows what it might do next. This incident has almost made me rethink playing CK at all.

this sound more like a virus or a defect in your windopws installation than abug in CK.

Have you gotten a anti virus program installed - is it updated?

Very strange indeed.
Turn off your power managment stuff, if you have PC probe you may want to run that and make sure you power consumption, voltage and heat levels are within normal range.

This sounds like maybe it was your system problem and not specific to this game, other than the game taxed your system.
